The company was established in 1969 by Brian Hayhurst, a skilled carpenter turned chartered builder whose early career involved managing the house-building interests of ICI. In the thirty plus years that Court Homes has been in business, the company has maintained a steady building programme, adding almost 1,000 new homes to the local landscape and growing into a successful family business.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB), Brian continues to run the business with as much care and attention to detail as ever. He is joined on the management team by his son Robin, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), and his daughter Amanda, who takes a lead role in the company's Sales and Marketing.
