Founded in 1969 by the present owner, Court Homes has grown into a family firm whose speciality is the building of quality upmarket homes. The company's strength is that it has remained a local firm, housing and re-housing its clients. It employs local people, and has a stake in the community, living and working amongst its customers.

Over the years, other development opportunities occasionally present themselves, and the company has built and converted a number of office premises, several of them listed. Its own offices are within such a conversion, namely a Lutyens designed farm complex at Ladygrove Court, Preston, Herts.

By remaining local, the company is more in tune with the historical, local vernacular, producing buildings in harmony with what exists, in small numbers, and therefore has no need to impose standard house types.....
